Refunds

When you are entitled to a refund and how we pay it.

Last updated: 1 October 2026

Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits your rights under South African law, including the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002, such as the cooling-off right for certain electronic and direct-marketing transactions.

Deposits

Most projects start with a 50% deposit. A deposit is refundable in full if you cancel in writing before work starts. Once work has started, the deposit is applied to work already done and any third-party costs already incurred.

Work already delivered

Completed and approved work (designs, development milestones, content and set-up) is not refundable, because it has been delivered. If something does not match the agreed scope, tell us within 14 days and we will fix it, or refund the affected portion if we cannot.

Monthly and subscription services

Fees for a month already started are not refunded. If we fail to deliver a service you paid for, we will credit or refund the unused part. Cancelling is covered in our Cancellation Policy.

WhatsApp Business chatbot and CRM

Set-up and configuration fees are non-refundable once set-up has started. Fees charged by Meta or other providers for messages and usage are non-refundable because they are paid to them on your behalf.

Non-refundable items

  • Domain registrations and renewals
  • Third-party licences, plugins and ad spend already used
  • Messaging and usage fees charged by WhatsApp (Meta) or other providers
